More of a fusion restaurant

The dishes here would be better described as fusion food. There are many items to order that run the gamut of cuisines. I tend to choose the 450NT set meal, which was filling after a day of hiking. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of food. The wait staff are responsive and friendly to customer needs.
I find the main courses here to be tasty, but the organic salad lettuce is not particularly green (seems to be iceberg lettuce) and the utensils provided are not particularly complimentary to the food. The teas are OK. The dessert is really just a plain Taiwanese dessert one could buy anywhere - it is a letdown after the main course.
It is a good restaurant to go to if you are in the area, such as after soaking in the hot springs nearby. The restaurant does not have many seats, so it fills up quickly. It would not be advisable to come in the middle of rush times.
The menu in Chinese is not quite the same as the English. There are more teas on the Chinese menu, for example. While you can get by with English, it would be a benefit to read Chinese.
Pros: Good value, Filling, Wide selection
Cons: Not much seating, Tea quality
