Review: The first time we dined at Richmond Bo Kong we weren't terribly impressed. We decided to give it a second chance for lunch after going to the airport. We ordered a few dim sum items (potstickers, taro rolls, turnip cake), wonton soup, and orange cutlets (on the recommendation if the previous Happy Cow reviewer). Potstickers were too cabbage-y and the turnip cakes a bit too gelatinous for us, but the taro rolls and soup were very tasty and the orange cultlets delicious. We will be back!
Pros: Open everyday * Close to canada line *
Cons: Potstickers * * |

Review: we go to this restaurant every time we stop by richmond. their menu is quite extensive, and the food is great. we love the orange "chicken" and the fried soy milk. the service is usually good, but can be bad when you catch them at a busy time. as it is quite a popular restaurant, we usually try to come in before 6pm for dinner. comparing to the bo kong in vancouver, there are more seats here so there is rarely long lineups like in vancouver, but the service is not as good.
