Info: Upstairs on the main west-east road in Calangute, east of the middle round about. Smoke free, lightly air conditioned environment. The South Indian thalis are very filling. Well priced and clean. Price: Moderate.

Review: Plantain Leaf is my favourite restaurant in Goa, it is great for breakfast/brunch, with the masala dosa and a banana lassi or a poori bhaji. They do a very well priced thali at lunch, and many different curries as well from lunch to late from all over india. Their Bhaigan Bharta is a particular favourite of ours (smoky aubergine curry).
