Review: We loved this place! The menu obviously changes from day to day, so there are just a handful of choices, but the food was so beautifully prepared and so fresh and delicate. Eating here felt rejuvenating and healthful. Service was exceptionally friendly. It's not so cheap, but the ingredients are very high quality and the food prepared with care. Nice decor as well. Unlike the comment in the review below, our server DID seem to know what was vegan, so maybe that aspect has improved.
Pros: delicious and fresh * friendly * beautiful
Cons: * * |

Review: I was very disappointed that this restaurant is not totally vegetarian. They do serve meat. Also, the selection is EXTREMELY limited. By extremely I mean like only three options. Having said that, the owner is very nice as was the waiter. Also, the food was very good.
Pros: Very fresh food. * Tasty bread. * Nice staff.
Cons: Very limited choices. * Is not a vegetarian restaurant. * Parking is difficult. |

Review: When I eat at Dynamic Dish I feel both satiated and nourished. David's food uplifts my spirit and I can taste the intention he puts in his food. He supports local farmers and buys only organic ingredients. Its is one of my top three places in Atlanta.

Cons: * * |

Review: I have read some very favorable reviews of Dynamic Dish online and in Creative Loafing, so I was excited to try it. I also like supporting vegetarian restaurants in particular. That's why I was surprised to read recently that Dynamic Dish isn't a vegetarian restaurant at all, as they serve "free range" chicken noodle soup.
But that being said, I did enjoy my lentil pate and salad I tried on my visit. The pate was very smooth and delicious, and the fresh bread was tasty. However, I'm hoping that the food I had actually was vegan, because when I inquired about which of the three available dishes were vegan, I was told "all of them" when one of the dishes actually had Parmesan in the name! I certainly wasn't expecting every dish to be vegan, but I do expect a "vegetarian" restaurant to know that cheese isn't considered vegan. And the price was surprisingly expensive for what I received.
The staff was quite friendly though, and the atmosphere was quaint and comfortable. Dynamic Dish has potential, but I hope that in the future they plan to offer more than three dishes at a time, and that they consider educating their staff on which dishes are vegan. And no more dead animals, please! Free range or not!
Pros: friendly staff * unique, comfortable atmosphere * simple, pleasant tasting food
Cons: not a vegetarian restaurant * expensive * unclear on what is/isn't vegan |
