Review: We arrived at the restaurant expecting to have a dinner of diluted, quasi-Mexican food. Instead we found each item to be delicious and reasonably authentic. The overriding theme of the restaurant is that although it's not solely (or necessarily primarily) a vegetarian restaurant, any item can be made vegetarian. Perhaps the most remarkable thing about the restaurant is that unlike most Mexican food, the dishes we ordered were not greasy and we did not feel stuffed at the end of dinner. I had a great quesadilla as an appetizer and enchiladas for dinner (which had unusual ingredients inside, such as grated carrots and bean sprouts, but they worked surprisingly well). My husband had a vegetarian burger (made of beans). At the end of dinner, they provided a complimentary juice and tequila. This is a great find in an unlikely place (and much needed in a city without many vegetarian options). True, it's not a pure vegetarian restaurant but probably the most that can be asked for in Granada is vegetarian friendly (which most restaurants aren't).

Review: We ate here twice because we enjoyed it so much the first time. The servers were friendly, and the food, while not quite authentic Mexican fare, was very tasty, using some unexpected vegetables and bean sprouts. In a country where it can be hard to find much vegetarian food, this was our comfort spot.

Pros: tasty food * friendly staff * good portions
