A wonderful treat for the right customer
Posted on 09 / 17 / 2008Spisestedet has been around for several decades, and the chef-in-charge is a gentle Anglophile who is a dedicated idealist, offering ecological food at unbelievable prices (for Norway, at least). The food is always very tasty, and you can choose from a surprisingly extensive menu.
However, potential visitors should know that Spisestedet is located in a squat building that definitely has it charm, but which is also quite rundown. If this is no bother to you, you'll be hard pressed to find a better vegetarian diner in Oslo. All of the food is organic, and most of it is vegan. A little-known gem which you might find yourself returning to again and again!
Pros: 100 % Organic, Great prices, Varied menuCons: Ambience
