Review: Dor Bo could not be simpler.

Lovely smiling staff.

A tasty plate of rice & veggies for HK$ 25 & bowls of herbal tea for free.

I am so happy that I found it through "HappyCow".

Whenever I am feeling homesick I will visit Dor Bo.

Review: "Family style" cafe - a sweet & innocent place to eat - 8 chairs - 4 stools.

I am usually charged HK$ 25 for a plate of mixed grains & 4/5 different vegetable / tofu preparations.

Crazy busy at midday - mid to late afternoon is when I visit.

Very, very simple - clean enough - not 1% "sparkly & shiny".

Shared tables.

Serving hundreds of meal every day.

When you finish eating drop your plate in the bucket next to the front door!

I give it 5 HappyCows because it is a perfect Hong Kong Buddhist Veggy Workers Cafe & one of my favorite places.

No English spoken by the staff - often a customer will help you to order if you do not speak Cantonese - or just sit down / smile / gesture that you would like to eat & you will be brought a plate of food / bowl of soup.

No English sign.

Simple English menu posted on the window.

They have been playing the same Buddhist recorded chanting for the past 10+ years!

The mock-meats are not vegan - as in pretty much every other place in Hong Kong.
