Review: you can find a lot of veggie options in this place and the atmosphere is relaxed, though you're better of with a reservation in advance. People from cape town love this place. I had ethopien food in different parts of the globe, but this is so far my favorite.
If you consider yourself a diehard veggie, it's probably the wrong place, as you might share the plate with your meat eating friends. Don't miss lunch at the portobello!

Pros: value the money * at long street * friendly staff

Review: Serving traditional Ethiopian food, so lots of small tasty dishes such as Wat, a kinda of stew, all eaten with injera bread. Half of the menu is vegetarian, as with most Ethiopian restaurants, since Wednesdays and Fridays are typically days when people eat only veggie food in Ethiopia (for religious reasons). Worth getting a range of dishes, 4-6 to share between 2 people. Spiciness varies between mild and extremely hot, so there's something to suit everyone. Ethiopian coffee is legendary, and they serve lovely traditional coffee at Addis, with popcorn alongside it. The atmosphere and decor is also nice. If you like Ethiopian food, or want to try something new and unusual, I'd highly recommend Addis.

Review: yuck, i've heard a lot of people saying this place is a good vegetarian place. well a) all veg were cooked to death, b) it was generally tasteless, and c) i don't know where the vegetarian fame came from, its as meat eating as the next place- so u can get a vegetarian meal like anywhere else. and the price was outrrrageous, i spent about R90 (on food alone) sharing stuff and was hungry and pissed at the end.

Pros: * *
Cons: expensive * boring food * cooked to death
