	Review: The restaurant is quite far from the city centre, but if you find yourself in Shunyi, then you must stop by Elaine's. The food is delicious, my kids love the sausages and sizzling black pepper steaks. The spicy chicken and flaming tofu are delicious. The staff are attentive and the owner, Elaine, is very friendly and speaks English. It is a beautiful setting, in a courtyard with a nicely decorated garden, views of the lake and an outdoor trampoline plus an indoor playroom for kids. It has become our family's favourite restaurant.   Pros: Excellent food * Beautiful setting * Friendly staff Cons: Far from downtown * *
