Respond to Review of Green Vegetarian Cuisine - Downtown
Review: I was just in San Antonio from California for a conference this past weekend. After eating at too many Mexican places on the River Walk, I found through a search this gem of a restaurant. I grabbed 3 of my carnivorous friends and took a cheap cab to this hidden veg*n restaurant. None of my friends had ever eaten food like this before and I think that this experience has opened the door for them, thanks of course to the awesome menu at Green Vegetarian Cuisine. The menu is full of a nice even mix of healthy and fried foods. From the buffalo wings to eggplant parm to enchiladas, the food was amazing. The service was kick-ass and the restaurant was oozing with charm. They grow a lot of their own food, compost and recycle everything, including rain water to irrigate their garden. The food was so delicious that we grabbed another cab the next day to eat lunch there again before heading out of town. I urge anyone visiting San Antonio to make their way over to this restaurant where both veg*ns and meat-eaters will find plenty to smile about! See you hopefully in 2 years Green Veg! Thanks for being there!
