Respond to Review of Green Vegetarian Cuisine - Downtown

Review: Last Sunday my wife, two friends and I visited Green. My wife and I eat Vegan and our friends eat everything. My wife and I have been to Green a number of times and have always been pleased. We came in for a Sunday brunch. The service was good, atmosphere relaxing and inviting, and the food was GREAT. The two things that stand out to me about this visit are: Our friends, who had not eaten vegetarian before, were very happy with their meal. I thought it would be a challenge to make the meals my wife and I ordered Vegan without losing taste (see details below). The chef was able to convert them to Vegan and they were scrumptious. We ordered: Classic Breakfast: 2 eggs any style, with hash browns and toast. Avocado Eggs Benedict Avocado Eggs Benedict made Vegan Breakfast Sandwich - eggs, faux sausage and provolone I was very curious how they would replace the eggs and hollandaise sauce on the Eggs Benedict and how they would replace the eggs and provolone on the Sandwich. The Eggs Benedict wasn't missing anything - creamy, great texture. The Breakfast Sandwich was cheesy, gooey, spiced just right. I also want to mention that this restaurant is serious about the 'Green' in their name - they take great effort to reduce their impact on the environment. Their electricity is generated by wind power. They 'recycled' the building they are in - it was vacant and in disrepair. The restored an old bakery with a green design. They grow a bunch of their own veggies, do composting and more. I recommend Green Vegetarian cuisine for the comfortable, inviting atmosphere for the Green mindset they put into action FOR THE FOOD!
