Respond to Review of Cornucopia Wholefoods
Review: My partner and I visited Cornucopia on a weekday lunch time, after going to the Powerscourt centre looking for Cafe Fresh only to find it was closed. We love shopping on nearby Wicklow street so came here by accident but it was a great discovery! The restaurant was fairly busy but we were able to get ample seating. We ordered a sweet potato and coconut soup with poppy seed bread, a medium salad for which you can pick 6 items (potato and mange tout in peanut dressing, bulgar wheat salad, daikon and cucumber, black sesame and carrot, curred chick pea and sweet potato, pesto pasta), 2 soft drinks and an oat and raspberry slice for about 20-25 euros. The soup was nice but not extraordinary, however the mixed salad and oat slice were really delicious and I'd definitely order them again. I'm going to buy their cookbook in the hope that the potato salad recipe is in there! All in all the atmosphere was nice, staff friendly, and food tasty, so I'd definitely visit often if I lived in the area. The prices were a little on the high side, but not unusual for Dublin and in my opinion worth it for such a varied range of healthy veg and vegan food.
