Review: I ate at Cornucopia on a Thursday Night. The restaurant was buzzing and I was very happy to see a wide variety of clearly labeled vegan options, even though it was a little confusing ordering there (it was my first time and they ask you while you're in line, so it was a bit rushed). I had the Sweet Potato, Tofu, and Spinach Casserole, the Sweet Potato and Tofu Curry, the Potato Salad, Fruit Salad, and a Chocolate Fudge Cake Slice. My companion had the Parcel of Cauliflower, Squash, and Tofu, the Potato Salad, and the Banana Cake. This was all for 35 Euro. The Bad: The casserole and curry were very bland and flavorless and poorly presented, just a bunch of glop on rice (which, honestly, would have been fine for less money). My companion's parcel looked great, but it was way too heavy on a licorice flavour (not sure if it was Anise or Tarragon, but it totally overwhelmed the dish). The Banana cake didn't taste much like banana and was overly grainy textured. The Good: The potato salad was actually pretty good for a vegan potato salad. The Chocolate Cake had a nice deep rich chocolate flavour from the icing, though the cake texture was overly dry and crumbly. Overall: I wouldn't say the food was bad. It was okay and at least it was vegan, but was exceedingly mediocre and definitely overpriced for the quality received. I would recommend heading to , instead, Kathmandu Kitchen a few blocks away.
