Respond to Review of Einhorn Mommsenstrasse

Review: This is a very good option for people whose German is so poor that they cannot manage to spit out "Ich bin Vegetarier" without embarrassing themselves. You just pile up a plate, pay, sit, and eat. It is comparable to a Whole Foods salad bar, but with real, breakable ceramic plates. There were maybe 10 to 15 dishes on offer. Room-temperature grain- and legume-based salads were abundant; hot, main dish-type constructions were not. Nothing made my day, but everything was at least good, and the total experience was very good. Vegans and healthy eaters should be very happy here. Cheesy, fatty, nap-inducing elements are limited, but not altogether lacking. If you like things on the heavier side, just keep piling until you make up in sheer weight what is lacking in density. It worked for me. The staff was delightful and the environment was relaxed. We visited during off hours and had our choice of tables and chairs. It looks like seating during peak lunch hours could be a challenge. Conveniently located between the Savignyplatz S-Bahn and Uhlanderstrasse U-Bahn stations.
