Respond to Review of Watershed Cafe and Bar
Review: The Watershed is an arts and culture center in Bristol facing the Bordeaux Quay. The cafe has a limited menu that focuses on fresh, local food. There is always at least one vegetarian dish. Dishes are tasty, well-prepared and inexpensive. In September 2010, they offer a Risotto of the Day. I tried one with beets, goat cheese, and arugula for about 7 GBP. It was delicious. Good flavor, not too salty, the right amount of goat cheese. (IMHO it could have had even more beets.) Order from the bar, and food will be brought to the table. There's free WiFi and a few public web kiosks built into tables. There is an excellent selection of beer and cider. It's a large space, not cramped, and you can find a table even on a weekend night. Their website is http://www.watershed.co.uk/cafe . From their flyer: From Plot to Plate: Watershed Cafe/Bar takes an ethical and sustainable approach to food - serving a new healthy, free-range, seasonal, organic menu wherever possible. We support the local economy, whilst paying the highest respect to the welfare of animals and the quality of the land.
