Respond to Review of CLOSED: Pan Africa Market

Review: We were tired after walking all around the district, and looking for decent vegetarian food when we happened upon this place. I had the vegetarian ethiopian platter which was served on the ethiopian flat bread called Injera(looks like a large crepe). I can say that each entree on the platter at Pan Africa was flavourful and spiced to a medium hotness - it was nice that all the different pea and lentil dishes had flavour - some places serve yellow split peas plain. In other Ethiopian restaurants, they usually give you extra Injera on the side for you to rip and pinch your food into, as the base Injera usually gets too soaked with oil and juice from the entrees to be usable for pinching. At Pan Africa, they used less butter or oil in their cooking, and the Injera was thicker and a bit dryer, so you were able to rip pieces from your base as it didn't get too soaked from the food sitting on it - they do not give extra Injera on the side. And then you can use a fork to eat up the last bits of on your plate. We were dining late, service was fast and very friendly. My carnivorous friend enjoyed his ethiopian meat dish as well. I would give it 5 stars if the system here allowed it(4 is the max. for a non veggie restaurant)
