Review: First of all, the place is still open, and has a sign on the door saying 'vegetarian food'. They have a set menu (typical here, where you get soup, main and drink or dessert) for vegans, as well as other vegan options. They also have other dishes, not sure if it's all vegetarian or not, but certainly check which things are actually vegan. The courtyard was really nice, and the atmosphere inside was great. We may have chosen poorly, but we were really underwhelmed with our lunch. My husband had the menu, which at 18 soles is the most expensive menu we've seen so we figured it should be good (to compare, most menu is 5-7 soles). He got vegetable soup as the starter, which was quite good, and then his main was apanado (which turned out to be some kind of veggie meat that's breaded and probably deep fried) with french fries and 'salad' (which was cucumber and tomato slices). The french fries were really dry and totally tasteless, and the veggie meat wasn't very good. I got the rice with vegetables (12 soles), which was a bit too oily for me, and the vegetables were what seemed like the kind you get frozen in a bag - carrot cubes, peas, green bean chunks. Then we got fruit salad for his dessert (instead of a drink), which was the one redeeming part of this meal because the mango and papaya was wonderful. There were some things listed on the menu that weren't available. Service was extremely slow.
