Respond to Review of The Vegan Joint

Review: I've eaten at some of the best vegan restaurants in the world like Millennium in SF and I've had my share of mediocre ones. Unfortunately, this place falls into the latter category. I stopped in for lunch to check it out. It is basically a Chinese-ish greasy spoon. I had the pepper steak sandwich which was ok, but I also had garlic fries and they were terrible. The garlic was burned beyond recognition but I think it was garlic flakes not fresh or chopped garlic. Either way it ruined my meal. I saw another patron, also his first time there, order a "vegan omelet". He had struggled with the server to get her to recommend something. When she stopped by to ask him how he liked it he said, "I'm trying to acquire a taste for it." She smiled and kept walking. Kind of clueless. For vegan lunches you can do much better elsewhere.
