Review: We got back from a day trip very late and came here because of its late closing time, lugging baggage. The restaurant was busy but we were seated within a couple of minutes (and our baggage stored), and a friendly staff member took our orders. I went for the pasta special and my partner for a vegan burrito. This turned into a minor drama when neither dish arrived vegan: the pasta my fault for forgetting to check (it came with egg tagliatelle and parmesan) and the burrito their fault for overlooking the vegan request. The staff dealt with this calmly and pleasantly and took the dishes back. I ordered the chickpea and aubergine tagine this time and this was good but much as any such tagine I've tasted. I also ended up finishing my partner's burrito (vegan second time around) which was reasonably tasty if a little dry and accompanied by a nice fresh salad with delicious oniony guacamole. Staff regularly but unimposingly continued to ask after us and offered water and more olive oil for our side of artisan breads. Vegan vanilla ice cream for dessert was delicious and one bowl between us hit the spot. Assuming orders go smoothly in the future I'd be interested in investigating this place further.
