Review: After reading previous reviews, we came here for an early dinner on a recent visit to London. It wasn't too crowded and the staff were really nice and friendly. We shared a starter of fried veg dumplings, which was delicious. My main course, asian noodles & tofu, was also yummy. My partner found his main of pie, peas & sweet potato fries a little disappointing. The mushroom pie filling was extremely rich and there was too much puff pastry, and the sweet potato was more chunky than chip! Soft drinks seemed very expensive and I was shocked that they added their own service charge to the bill. I requested that it be taken off when I paid with my debit card, and was asked if there was a problem with the service. I advised that I like to determine my own cash tip. Maybe it's a London thing, but it really cheesed me off and soured my experience - felt like I was being bullied a little. Good food overall, but not sure if I would return. Shame.
