Respond to Review of Blossom Restaurant
Review: We had dinner at Blossom just after arriving in NYC - we had booked a table for 8.30 pm and by the time we got there the jetlag was seriously kicking in. Also, the lighting here was so dim we feared we would fall asleep, plus we couldn't even see our dishes properly, which was a bit annoying. Fortunately the food was very good, particularly the mains: portobello osso-bucco, which was made to look like the real thing and with the dark lighting was a bit scary... and port wine seitan with garlic mashed potatoes. Both very good! Not so much, in our opinion, the seitan empanadas we had for starters, which were a bit dry. We visited on a Friday night and it was packed, people kept coming in and being turned away so make sure you make a reservation!
