Respond to Review of Crossroads Cafe
Review: This is a great little restaurant that seems to be staffed mainly by climbers. The atmosphere is sort of DIY, but it's fun and unique. Crossroads Cafe is a fantastic place to stop after a long day of climbing in Joshua Tree. The staff are friendly and the service is surprisingly fast, don't let the long line deter you when you first walk in. They have a great vegan tofu dish for breakfast and they will happily make the tempeh reuben and the tofu melt vegan. They use veganaise and soy cheese instead of dairy products on the sandwiches when you ask, and no one gives you a funny look for asking for things vegan. The smoothies are really good as well. This was for sure a welcome find on my recent trip to J Tree.
