Respond to Review of Baobab
Review: After living in Spain for three months, I rarely eat out. Spanish food is ok, but not very accommodating to the vegetarian eater. A friend told me about Baobab so we agreed to have lunch this afternoon at this quaint little restaurant near the university. It was arguably the best meal I've had here. The menus are fixed with three courses. For the starter, I had lentils with curry and it was excellent. The main course was quiche with a black olive sauce (the name is similar in Spanish, olivados I believe) and it was also fantastic. The dessert...wow. Carmelized bananas resting in a pool of chocolate. I smiled at my friend for treating me to such a great place, all three courses just 11.25 euros. Not too shabby at all. Totally worth it. I plan to return, again and again. Do note, however, that it is a place to have a full meal, not just tapas or any other small bite. The staff was really friendly, too.
