Review: We had lunch at Stupps recently during a trip to the Galilee. It is conveniently located near the entrance to Moshav Amirim, a vegetarian village with several other restaurants and a few veggie B&B's. Stupps is the only kosher restaurant in the Moshav. We were served by Esther, the owner, a former Canadian, who we remembered from our visit to Stupps with our two vegetarian grandchildren a few years ago. We had congenial conversations with her on both occasions. Stupps is a small restaurant, surrounded by greenery, and the greenery is brought inside with many baskets of plants suspended from the ceiling. It provides a very pleasant atmosphere for dining. The menu was more creative than one usually finds in an Israeli veggie restaurant. I had pastry triangles, filled with mushrooms and nuts, served with a nice salad. My companion had stir-fried vegetables and noodles served in a pastry shaped like a large seashell. On the menu, there were soups, salads, pastas and other dishes, many suitable for vegans. Prices were reasonable and service was good. We will definitely return if we are in the area again.
