Respond to Review of Un Punto Macrobiotico
Review: This meal was the highlight of our day. It is a bit of a journey from the main part of Rome, but it's definitely worth it. We're vegan and they do serve some fish items, but that is the only non-vegan items on the menu. The sampler plate came with soup, an immense amount of food, delicious tea, and dessert. Plus, since we came at the end of the lunch hour, they gave us some complimentary appetizers! The food was all delicious, and I was really impressed with the wide range of flavors and textures. The leftovers were our dinner as well. I also really enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant. The description says it has simple decor, but I thought it was really nice. It evoked a rustic country log cabin, but very sophisticated at the same time, with all the waiters in bowties, and huge windows letting in the light. It felt like a real community hang-out for the local health-conscious crowd, and a refreshing side trip from the touristy parts of Rome. Highly recommended!
