Respond to Review of Gengibre E Canela

Review: I visited this place for the first time this week. It's only small, seating 26 inside (with a few tables outside), and a correspondingly small buffet selection, yet this for me is one of the advantages. It's cosy and friendly, in a land of soulless shopping centres. Almost everything was vegan: the tofu with mixed veg and seaweed was crunchy and had a pleasant flavour, and was accompanied by couscous or rice noodles (slightly overcooked, but not unpleasant). The other dish was some kind of pastry roll with cheese in it, so I didn't try that, but I did sample the tomato sauce that went with it, and it was good. Then there was a selection of steamed veg (broccoli, cabbage and carrots) and some salads. The drinks menu had a selection of freshly squeezed fruit or vegetable juices which you could combine in just about any way you wanted, as well as the usual soft drinks. Be warned, it gets full fast at lunchtimes, so try and get there early.
