Respond to Review of Shakahari

Review: My husband and I went here for dinner on a Monday night. It was pretty full, not packed but busy. We ordered the gnocchi, Shakahari salad, Couscous, Thai Mango sticky rice, and apple fig crumble. The gnocchi was a surprise, very tasty, but different than I expected, it had a tofu like texture but was very good. The Salad was rather small and cold rice and beans was not so appetizing, as they were pretty cold instead of room temperature. The Couscous with chickpeas was good, but seriously overpriced. The most expensive vegan dish I've ever seen! $21 for some wheat semolina, chickpeas, tomato sauce and a few vegetables... are you kidding? The Thai Mango Dessert was good but very small and only 1/4 of a mango was served instead of the full mango and large portion of rice they serve in Thailand for $1. This was a total rip off, 1/4 of a mango and rice for $13.50? The crumble was good, a little dry on top, at least it was cheaper. The food tasted pretty good and have some nice presentation, but this is not a French restaurant, I did not even pay these prices for vegan food in Paris, so I really felt they are kidding themselves with perceived value. The portions are small and we were still hungry after sharing an appetizer and a main each. The staff are wearing plain clothes and pretty meek, not personable servers at all. The bathrooms outside are really dirty and disgusting, I can't believe they charge that much for food and leave them that dirty. And the decor and ambience is non existent. If they've been around forever, it doesn't make sense, the place has nothing to offer in a memorable evening except nice food.
