Respond to Review of Waterloo Gardens Teahouse

Review: I wish I had known about this place earlier, which is why I decided to add it to Happycow and make sure other vegans know that they can enjoy a real afternoon tea! You have to order afternoon tea a day in advance and at this point specify any dietary requirements (i.e. tell them you're vegan). They also do gluten-free etc. The afternoon tea includes sandwiches, a slice of cake, a scone with jam and cream and a truffle. The vegan cream isn't whipped, but the fact that they have it at all is amazing :) They always have a vegan cake available so if you drop in for coffee and cake, you will actually be able to have cake! The cakes are made by locals that the tea house works with. The tea menu is huge and organised by black, red, green and white teas. Within each section there are loads of different teas, so you won't be able to look through them all (unless you're planning on staying a long time..). The tea house is in the beautiful Penylan area by the gardens. Just realised Happycow won't let me give this place 5 stars!! It thoroughly deserves 5 stars though. It's much better than some vegetarian places...
