Respond to Review of Anatolian Grand Bazaar

Review: It's difficult to be definitive because Anatolian is evolving. It is the retail effort of a primarily catering business. At the moment, food is prepared elsewhere and must be eaten elsewhere. Most is refrigerated in plastic containers. There are a few spices offered. In the future, hot food with tables and chairs, plus a wider selection of groceries should appear. The food is traditional Turkish, which is to say representative of one of the world's great synthetic cuisines. It's carefully prepared and presented, but expensive, so this is not the place to go for a hearty meal, but for a delicious take-away treat with no meat anywhere, it's worth a detour. (Pearl Street across from Clarke, a few steps east of Church Street.) Extraordinarily nice people.
