Review: Those who are looking for highly processed meat substitutes will not find what they are looking for here. Those who are looking for beautiful, healthy, fresh, vibrant wholefoods and a great selection of raw chocolates, raw crackers, raw biscuits, raw cereals, organic tempeh, tofu and patties will be very happy! This is the place to go in Dunedin for crisp & fresh organic fruit and vegetables, as well as organic dried goods, spices, condiments etc. The prices are better than the Wellington equivalent (Commonsense organics) and the staff are friendly & helpful. They also have lots of seeds and organic gardening books on sale. I went to the newly opened cafe, which has a lovely atmosphere and great surroundings. I tried the vegan chickpea and tomato soup with bread. The bread was delicious, the soup was hearty and warm but could have used a bit more seasoning & bigger bowls as the serving sizes left me still hungry. I saw that they had a vegan ginger crunch and a selection of salads, I am looking forward to trying these next time I visit. Prices slightly higher than the typical cafe, but everything is organic and made with wholefoods so it is worth paying for.
