Respond to Review of Le Potager du Marais
Review: I went to Le Potager du Marais this evening for a nice dinner out and was very happy with my overall experience. The restaurant is all vegan with a good variety of items on their menu. My partner and I had a really difficult time choosing but settled on the French onion soup, vegetable quiche, seitan bourguignon, and lasagna. We were pleasantly surprised by the decent portion size, which is sometimes a problem at expensive vegan restaurants. The entrees would have been sufficient for a lighter meal on their own. The stand-out item was the French onion soup- I had never had this as a omnivore so I don't have a basis for comparison but both of us absolutely loved it. The soup was flavourful and almost smoky. I enjoyed the experience enough that I am planning on heading back tomorrow for lunch (partner and I will split the soup, a giant salad, and a creme brulee). Highly recommend for a "special" evening (it is a bit pricey).
