Respond to Review of Le Potager du Marais
Review: Have just got returned to my hotel after eating at le potager du marais and I am absolutely stuffed, the portions were very generous, and very tasty. I had french onion soup, and seitan bourguignon. I like that they do classic french food as all too often vegetarian options are restricted to the same dishes wherever you are in the world (like vege lasagne, houmous, tomato pasta...) Also liked that it is a 'normal' restaurant with the emphasis on having a nice meal out with your friends with no guilt inducing posters or health supplement juices - a good place to eat out with meat eating friends. Very slight criticism is that there is a high presence of fake meat in the main courses it would be nice if the dishes showed off vegetables themselves more rather than depending on 'meat'. The service was good, and the place was packed so would defintiely recommend reserving. The phone number listed here (same as that on the restaurants own website) seemed to be out of order when I tried to reserve so if that happens to you fear not it has not closed down.
