Respond to Review of Le Potager du Marais
Review: With the Victoire Supreme du Coeur sadly closing in 2009 this is probably the most widely known vegetarian restaurant in Paris. Booking was pretty essential as it was packed out on Saturday night for the second sitting at 9pm. Service was poor to the point of almost being ignored but this is Paris and Paris is amazing, so who cares. The food was very good (sauteed aubergine wrapped around goat's cheese served with roast potatoes and mushroom duxelle served with rice). The whole meal (2 mains and a bottle of white came to €51). Not bad for Paris. The restaurant seats diners on one side only so the person sitting next to the wall has to be let in by staff moving the table away for them. It's a cosy place with a good atmposphere. There was only one waitress attending to everyone so that may explain the long wait, I can give the benefit of the doubt. Would definitely go again.
