Respond to Review of Le Potager du Marais
Review: Le Potager du Marais was hands down my favorite restaurant during my week long trip to Paris two years ago. The food and atmosphere was very enjoyablem and I can't wait to return when I visit Paris again! When we arrived the server tried to explain that there was a large group reservation at 9pm, in case we wouldn't have time. I thought my French was bad because it wasn't yet 7pm, but being American I haven't yet mastered the 2+ hour dinner. The server pulled a table out from the wall and my Mom took a seat on the booth that spanned to wall of the restaurant. The seating area is approximately 15 tables sitting side by side in one long row, booth on one side & chairs on the other. Great use of space. I recall my Mom had a Hungarian goulash made with tofu that was amazing (all the food was spectacular, but I can't remember the details). Something that added to the fun was the two young models sitting next to us. They were discussing one of their photo books and barely eating anything...a very Parisian experience to me. If you've read this far, I want to highly recommend this restaurant!
