Review: You may by now have figured out that there aren't a whole lot of vegan-friendly places in Seville. Habanita is one of them, and thankfully it's a rewarding experience, a little hard to find (just off Plaza Alfalfa, near the Cathedral - probably best to mark it on your map before going to Seville) but worth the effort. As mentioned, the place itself served meat-intensive Cuban food, but a member of the family must be vegan or something, because they have a separate part of the menu (online too) that clearly indicates which dishes are vegetarian and which are vegan. We came here for lunch AND for dinner, the food was so good! Black beans and rice, friend plantain balls with tomato sauce, a HUGE pile of potatoes in spicy sauce, soy chicken nuggets... Pretty much anything your little heart desires. A nice, super-quiet courtyard is there for you to enjoy your food outdoors when it's warm. My wife's only criticism was about the sangria, where all the sugar was sitting at the bottom of the glass. So don't order the sangria but get everything else! As others have said, I'd give the place 5 stars if Happy Cow would let me. But I can't because it serves meat as well. Don't let that stop you from dining here!
