Respond to Review of Beach Muffin
Review: As the previous reviewer (and the listing) said this is an amazing cafe, with great vegan meals, drinks and baked goods walkable from Zushi stations and the beach. The staff are friendly and the whole place has a great (and unique) vibe about it. However, it's important to point out that the place is not totally vegan: a small number of baked goods contain dairy/egg (they are labelled in Japanese) and the menu is essentially vegan by default, but the staff will ask if you want dairy added (eg cheese to the burritos). This is definitely not something to put you off coming, as the vegan range is amazing, but it's just important to specify that you are vegan when you order. A great vegan outing is to go to Naturalia (Hase, close to Yuigahama Beach in Kamakura) for lunch, enjoy the beach or temples and then go to Zushi and have dinner at Beach Muffin. Just beware that the kitchen closes about an hour (I think - call to check) before the restaurant.
