Review: This is a really cozy place with a great atmosphere and friendly owners & is pretty good too. The food and desserts as I understand are all handmade, and the menu changes seasonally. About 4 food items to choose from ranging from 500 to 1,200 Yen, cheapest being bagel sandwiches and enchilada the most expensive. Excellent, homemade flavors, thoughtfully presented. Desserts include brownies, cakes (500 yen) and pies (500 yen), and muffins are beautiful (380)...we took home a bunch of muffins and cookies. Lots of drinks to choose from, ranging from 300 to 700 yen including herbal teas, coffees, and sparkling fruit drinks they make at the shop and craft beers (the Zushi beer is excellent! 700 yen). Take out bakery and a small store with bulk/packaged dried fruits/ nuts, teas etc. And, really good granola!!! Free parking nearby, about a 10 - 15 minute walk from Zushi Station and about 10 min from Shin Zushi station, on the way to beach, turn on the street where you see a store called Ginger Beach and follow the little river to the sea, cafe is next to Domino Pizza. This is a great find, surprised Japan Times or other media has not written about this yet! Last year they added a tap room serving a local beer called Yorocco beer...a very consistently good solid beer. Also, a vegan friendly tap room menu is available.
