Review: Having been for brunch before at the cafe that was once in the same location, we were pleased to hear that this place did veggie brunch with a focus on organic and regional ingredients. Most of the food was vegan (with the exception being a plate of cheese) and included a mixture of hot a cold stuff, such as: bread, croissants, spreads/dips (e.g. hummus, guacamole, jam, chocolate spread), salad, fruit salad, fake meat slices (seitan), German-style potato salad, yoghurt and cereal/muesli. The hot things were a Mediterranean vegetable bolognese, a bean and mushroom casserole, potato soup, roasted pumpkin wedges, boiled potatoes, curry falafel and a pear and chocolate crumble. The quality of the food was good and there was a good variety on offer to please most. The focus on seasonal produce was great. We paid €12.90, which includes a drink, with children between 5-11 paying €6,90 and children under 4 eating for free. One thing to note is that although they open at 10, the hot food isn't brought out until 11:30.
