Respond to Review of Ajdovo Zrno
Review: Ate here twice in August 2010. Located in the old city, three minutes from the triple bridge and market. The Salad bar offered a wide variety of raw & cooked vegetables, carbohydrates (pasta, brown rice, potato's, cuscus) and legumes. We also had the hot casserole - stew. Everything was fresh and Delicious and my kids loved it all as well. The outside area is pleasant and the interior is pretty and has a nice vibe. The staff was friendly, helpful, accommodating and patient with our questions regarding ingredients and kosher issues. The prices were surprisingly low. (3-6 euros for the salad bar, 4.30 for the casserole and a small salad plus bred) They do use eggs, sour cream and a cheese. It seemed as if the cheese probably is pure veg. (no rennet) but since we weren't 100% sure we simply avoided it as well as eggs. I recommend this place to vegetarians, vegans and Kosher observers.
