Respond to Review of LA Vegan Crepe
Review: I had read about this place on happycow and finally had the chance to stop in for lunch, January 2013. Here's my LA Vegan Crepe review. It's a cute little cafe with nice vibe. The menu is primarily crepes and brunch-like food along with a beverages menu. My friend and I ordered some dishes to share, and we were very pleased with the food. Everything was delicious. The savory crepes are made with a buckwheat mix flour, so they are brown on the outside. The sweet crepes are made with a white color flour and is lighter. We had one of each and both delightful. We also got a waffles plate served with a side of tofu scramble, and that was yummy, too. Be warned that the food arrives slowly as it's made to order. For desserts we took away a strawberry shortcake and a layered chocolate and banana napoleon cake--both good. The prices are very reasonable for the good tasting food. The couple that run this place spoke French and English. My only suggestion for improvement is that the kitchen needs better ventilation to let out the smoke.
