Review: Spent some time in Paris in summer '08 and this is the ONLY restaurant that my husband and I went back to. It was fantastic and the service was wonderfully friendly (hard to find anywhere in Paris). I don't understand the conflicting reviews on this site. The food was great! TWe had a sort of pot-pie (a gourmet kinda pot pie with yummy flakey crust) and some wonderful seitan and salads, I wish I could remember it all. I thought the wine list was quite nice, and I spent a few years in the industry. We sat in the lower main room and outside, which I would recommend. The location is also fantastic. So close to many things to do and see. I have had wonderful vegan meals in Rome, Florence, New York, LA, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Chicago and more.... and this is on my list of the most memorable restaurants ever. What I appreciated the most was that it was not typical vegan fare. eg: it was not trying to find a greasy replacement for typical meat and taters dish or a flavorless raw veggie platter.... I also loved the atmosphere. Comfortable, welcoming and somewhat romantic. I think it may have been hard to find, perhaps this is the reason for the confusing reviews. So, make sure you DO find the right place. I would give a 5-star if i could. Here is a short video review of the restaurant. http://www.geobeats.com/videoclips/france/paris/vegetarian-restaurant
