Review: It is often very difficult to find vegetarian options in the Austrian Alps and Bavaria. Fortunately, we found Chakra while staying in Bad Ischl! The small restaurant/store is not far from downtown; its owner is extremely friendly and serves a homemade Indian vegetarian menu at lunch time for a reasonable price. He even made a special order of samosas for our day-hike :) If you are in the region, check it out.
