Respond to Review of Lotos Cafe
Review: With two different dishes and a soup each day, it is easy to make a choice. There's also a few different cakes and dessert and tea house / coffee shop drinks, so it's also nice to just hang out and enjoy life. I had a risotto which included some salad and was very delicious. Note that the two main dishes are only served until 7pm during the week. The last hour is just soup, drinks, and desserts. People interested in Buddhism should definitely check this out, since it's integrated into a really nice meditation center. If you're not into Buddhism, you'll probably still like the relaxed atmosphere. This place is really quiet, because it's right in the middle of a residential block, shielded from busy streets by some high-rise apartment buildings. To get there from U-Bahn Schillingstrasse, walk past the Moskow restaurant and the bike shop, then take the small path left of the bike shop and walk straight on the "private" foot path between the apartment blocks. It's also just a short walk from S-Bahn/U-Bahn Jannowitzbrücke and a longer walk from Alexanderplatz area (if you can find the way ;).
