Review: The Kona side of the Big Island is pretty bleak for vegetarians, but this place at least has some options. For vegans there's the choice of salad or the chickpea burger. Ovo vegetarians have the added option of a Portobello burger stuffed with bulgur and parmesan. The salad was large and the chickpea burger was decent. There's only one option for dressing on the salad and for some reason vegans are only offered a ciabatta bun for the burger. I won't complain about prices as everything here is expensive. On the plus side, the service was excellent and the furnishings were nice. They ask for recommendations from diners, so if enough people ask for more options, they may respond. Two stars for the food; 4 stars for service and ambiance.
