Review: Our family enjoys this restaurant and tea house so much we eat there almost daily. It has the warmth and friendliness of a mom and pop diner, the style and ambiance of a European tea house, as well as the most nutritious, artfully prepared delectable cuisine in Cuenca. We are not vegetarians, but we do appreciate high quality whole organic food, particularly when it's prepared in such an attractive and delicious fashion. In addition to the daily almuerzo, which includes fresh juice, salad, a main course and desert for less than $3, a menu is available with excellent raw dishes, pita pizzas, appetizers, and desserts. I highly recommend trying a slice of the chocolate and/or banana cake, which in addition to being made with whole, natural, gluten free, vegan ingredients, are insanely delicious. And don't forget to accompany your cake with an freshly prepared herbal infusion!
