Respond to Review of Top of India
Review: In addition to white rice, there were 4 vegan selections at Top of India lunch buffet today, (Jan. 27, 2012) all of which I enjoyed. Those were the vegetable biryani, lentil/mixed bean dahl (thin but still tasty), a mixed vegetable dish containing potatoes and carrots, and a mushroom dish. The pappadam was vegan and unlike most pappadams, not greasy. All the dishes had a nice balance of flavors and were not too spicy nor too greasy. I appreciate that the 4 vegan dishes were on the end where no meat or dairy could fall into it. I wouldn't call this top of the line Indian food, but it was certainly better than average. If in the area, I would eat here again.
