Respond to Review of Fine Grains Bakery
Review: I allready come here for 3 years now. And I am spending 8 weeks a year in this area. If you are in the area of Swayambhunath and you really want to taste something nice, this is a nice bakery. I allways order birthday cakes here but also I will buy bread (white/corn or wholeweat), cookies, things stuffed with fresh apples or strawberries or with spinach and cheese. But I especially like their banana cake. It's a small bakery, with very friendly people. Comming from Thamel you pass Swayambhunath. You keep this at your right side. Keep on following the road for about 200 meters, it will go a little bit upwards, At the crossing you do not go to the right but straight ahead. After 40 meters the way will split into 2 directions. Follow the most left one. After the monastery (on your left hand) there is a little gate. There is a plate hanging with Fine Grain Bakery. Enter the gate, go downstairs and enter the home/bakery. A really nice place where they only use fresh ingredients and were they do not put any chemical things in their products. And they speak English very well!
