Respond to Review of Choices Markets Yaletown
Review: Choices is a great alternative to the more trendy Capers Community Market (recently acquired by Whole Foods through Capers' parent company Wild Oats). Their prices are often cheaper than those at Capers and their selection of grocery items is better. Choices also runs a rice bakery that produces a number of decent items for gluten-sensitive/intolerant people, though most of these rice good are not vegan. That said, Choices has a better selection of vegan breads and has a less bougois atmosphere than Capers. The West 16th Avenue location in Vancouver is the only place I've yet found Sheese for sale, as well as vegan pies. Overall, Choices is more down-to-earth and comfortable to shop at than Capers.
