Review: This restaurant is located in the Chapinero neighborhood, not far from the Calle 57 Transmilenio station. They have 2 set lunches to choose from each day. You can see mock-ups of the two plates in a window just below the cash register so you can just point if you don't speak Spanish. The prices for the two lunches as of August 2010 is 8.300 pesos or 8.800 pesos depending on which one you choose. After entering, walk to the back and pay for your lunch first, then take the receipt to your table and the waiter brings your lunch. Today the lunch I chose came with a lot of things. Cream of spinach soup, then the main plate with lentils, brown rice and a portion of broccoli casserole. Also included was a small salad, juice, coco-banana cake, and a separate fruit topping. The tiny pitcher on the table is filled with sugar cane sweetener to put in the unsweeted juice they bring you. The waiter comes back later on to ask if you want soy milk, or aromatica or more juice. They have 2 big bright dining rooms with skylights and attentive service from a nicely dressed waiter. The food is good, although not the most creative. The price is a bit higher than the other choices in the neighborhood, so they always have tables available. Probably my favorites in the neighborhood is Esquina Vegetariana for the lower prices and more interesting food, and then Ajonjoli, and then this place. All are good... visit them all if you are going to be in Bogota several days.
