Review: The food in this guest house is delicious. So good, in fact, that it won the Vegetarian Society's veggie breakfast of the year award! We were only able to confirm our booking at 11am on the day we were due to arrive. Despite that we were served a wonderful spicy creamy lentil soup with home made bread, roast vegetable tart with rosemary potatoes, lovely vegetables and salad, and rhubarb crumble with custard. We slept in a comfortable bed and had a spacious bathroom. Next day we were served the best vegetarian breakfast we have ever had, including a large platter of freshly cut fruit, a wide range of cereals, a fried breakfast including home made potato cakes, polenta and tofu, and more home made bread toasted and preserves. Anita is very friendly and helpful and there are two lovely friendly cats and a tiny Chihuahua to welcome you.
